IASH
Vision Statement

The Americas will have the best blood pressure control and lowest prevalence of cardiovascular disease in the world.

IASH
Mission Statement

Improve hypertension control and reduce incidence of cardiovascular disease by promoting communication, education, and research across the Americas.

IASH
IASH Strategic Plan Objectives

GOAL 1:
IASH will facilitate scientific and educational exchange between researchers and clinicians in the Americas.
GOAL 2:
As non-communicable diseases are recognized as the major cause of death and disability in the world, IASH will promote a paradigm shift away from the prevailing concept among stakeholders that current therapeutic approaches to high blood pressure control are adequate.
GOAL 3:
IASH will work with all other organizations interested in hypertension and cardiometabolic disease in achieving our vision of best blood pressure control and CVD risk reduction in the Americas.
GOAL 4:
Implement a core set of strategies and practice approaches directed to eliminate gaps in quality care management techniques to achieve successful control of hypertension and target-organ damage.
